My Nanny always made me cinnamon toast. Mmmmm my fav! And my kids love it too. So, I had some extra crescent rolls in the fridge and I thought of something new. Now, this may be a Pillsbury recipe, but I don't know.

Fancy Cinnamon Toast
1 Can Crescent Rolls (I used the butter flavored ones)
Cinnamon
Sugar

Lay out rolls flat. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and roll up like you normally would. Bake as directed on package. You can also make a powdered sugar/milk glaze for them if you like.

My son called them FANCY cinnamon toast! I also tried it again adding slices apples and rolling them up in there. Cook on low for 8 hours. Use forks and shred. You can use the meat in tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, or whatever else you like. I like mine in a taco shell with cheese and ranch dressing. Yumm-O!

Curry Dip

This is a comfort food to me, in a round about way. In a blender or food processor, blend canned tomatoes and cream cheese until smooth. I usually do one can and half the block of cream cheese at a time. Depends on what you like. Mix the blended mixture into the broth. While that is heating, remove meat from rotisserie chicken and put into soup. Once it is all heated through, it is ready to serve. Easy, right?!?

I then like to take tortillas and cut them into large strips and fry them in the veg oil. They are great with the soup. Make sure not to put too much, or else is will splash in your pudding. Bake for 45 minutes at 350. There will be a crust on the top and a gooey bottom. Allow to cool a little before serving. I usually do about 5 slices at a time. Place a thin layer of mayo on each slice. Salt and pepper each slice. Then take an asparagus spear and place it on the edge of one slice. Roll the asparagus spear in the slice of bread. Eat right away, if you can keep from everyone else taking them. If you are storing, I recommend putting a damp paper towel on top of them, just to keep the bread from drying out.
